I made this one with all of two things in it, Jack’s birth announcement and the little hat he got in the hospital, and I love it!.

It’s infinitely interesting to some people, and as much as I love a good wham bam before and after, I have to admit that I love the long, painful drawn-out before and afters so much more.There’s a real life going on there.There’s a story..
The story here is the power of 15 minutes.Or sometimes 5 minutes.. About a week ago, I stopped trying and hoping to find big chunks of time to be a real serious DIYer and started just grabbing a brush and a yogurt container full of paint for just a few minutes every day, or every second day.
It’s part of my whole finding balance thing and not letting one thing totally take over my time.
Even doing something for 5 minutes a week is a billion times better than doing nothing at all.. And once I started just doing a teeny tiny bit each day, that’s when the progress really seemed to start picking up..Finishing touches.
The last thing that we added on to our cabinet design was one of the optional trim packages that KraftMaid offers.I think adding a bit of extra trim in a bathroom gives your vanity more of a furniture feel rather than a builder-basic kitchen feel.
