I was so confused at why I would “declutter” every week by filling an extra garbage bag or two with stuff from the basement or random closets and yet I never really seemed to make a big dent in it at all.. You know all of those amazing built-in projects that Chris puts together?
That would be some serious exercise for that poor door-to-door salesman..So I got out my tape and my chalkboard spray paint and I changed them!.
And the signs even worked!When the UPS guy came last week, he came and knocked on the inside door to the kitchen instead of banging away out here where I can’t hear him..I did get a few paint spots on the door, but those seemed to wipe off pretty easily.
And clearly this door’s days are numbered.. Might as well have some fun with it before we go ripping it out!Once upon a time I had a fern and I didn’t kill it.It’s pretty flabbergastingly great really because, you see, I love ferns.
They’re so fresh and verdant and classy and stuff.
Up until now, I’ve killed everyone that I’ve owned.Did we want anything from the yard?
It was all going in the trash anyway..The pot that I’d been eyeing up for the last few years as it was filled to overflowing with all kinds sunny, happy flowers.
The pot that I always admired over the fence as we were chatting about good hiking trails or how to finally keep those darn ground hogs away.. Only at this point it had been left outside for a few winter seasons and was badly cracking and falling apart..So now it’s here.
