One of the best things about this desk is that the drawers are secretly filing cabinets.
Only… HAD A BABY!.Meet our little Jack!.

Born Friday, December 6th at 12:39 pm.He was 8lbs 4oz, and 19 inches long.We really had about the easiest, best experience at the hospital that we could have hoped for.

Now we’re all home and doing great, other than being incredibly sleep-deprived from this kid’s constant appetite!.So I just wanted to pop in really quick today and give you the news!.

Here he is with Chris in the hospital..
Here he is at home last night with his (adoring!)deck recycling project.
post to see how run-down this little slice of heaven used to be!.It turns out that he had this trick up his sleeve that made the job so much quicker and easier than any other deck staining project that I’ve seen before.. It’s actually Easy… Really.
So when you think of staining a deck, if you’re like me, you think of slaving away for hours in the hot sun, dipping your brush or your rag into the can of stain and then slopping it onto the deck and rubbing it in, square inch by square inch. It’s kind of a painful thought, isn’t it?.
