If you’ve never painted a ceiling before, let me tell you about.
Not happening.. You see this room, and my house really, aren’t at that decorating stage yet.There’s this flooring.
And it’s horrific and I hate it.In this this room it’s this bright yellow carpet.. You can see a bit of a glimpse of it in this photo.. And the floor aren’t getting better any time soon.We really need to do the roof first, and it would be silly to do anything else before.. I’ve been fake decorating every room, just trying to make it all OK for now, and it’s been driving me crazy.
I know in the back of my mind that it’s not working.And I know it’s a waste of my time..
The thing is, there are plenty of “real” projects I could be working on.
Ones that aren’t just a temporary solution..So, just to give you an idea, here’s how the room started out looking about 2 months ago:.
We lived with the room like that for 2 years!No wonder it made me sad.. Now, here’s what’s been going on in there recently:.
Since I’m in Canada, there will be a few stores that I have, that aren’t in the U.S., so I’ll try to explain the cultural differences.🙂 Winners is basically Canadian TJ Maxx, I think.
